Effect of Account Size on PL Service Payroll

With the overwhelming interest in last month's "Effect of Account Size on CL Service Payroll" and the requests for the same information for personal lines, MarshBerry studied the effect of account size on personal lines service personnel payroll and its cost effectiveness.

This study shows that, as it did for commercial lines, payroll for personal lines service personnel increases at a steady rate. But the bigger question is:

"How cost effective is the payroll paid to personal lines service personnel by account size?"

This question is answered by measuring payroll as a percentage of commissions handled. View this item to see the result. It is significantly different than commercial lines.
